This is one of the debatable issues of the NMM game. Another is whether or not one can capture an opponent piece in a mill when the opponent is down to 3 pieces. Overall, NMM is an interesting game because of its complexity in terms of deciding which move to make. Furthermore, many game theorists claim that no single player has a winning strategy. I am curious how the tournament will turn out.
