Could it be possible that we can obtain extra credit information early enough so that in our coding, we can implement them right there, rather than finishing all the full credit, but finding that we have to almost rewrite the implementation near the deadline?
In this homework, Part I clearly states that improving state transition table will be the extra credit. I think we need more instructions like this.
Adaptive Huffman as extra credit for HW4 really comes as a surprise since that would mean restarting from the beginning.
