I. on the **verbose description of the questions**, I VERY MUCH agree that just to read it took away way too big a portion of that limited time, let alone most of the time one would have to read it over and again for various reasons
qutie a few times in the instruction, we're "strongly" suggested/recommended to be "brief" or "VERY brief" in our answers, while the questions themselves are not brief
I am not sure whether this is a built-in defect of English language itself... nonetheless, I'd say, to be precise != to be verbose
II. One of the ways to make it more precise can be: on top of each question, a brief title as of what this question is about (AVL, or Huffman, or Big-O calculation, etc) or what this question is meant to test, was given
one of the previous mid-terms available from this Black board demonstrates a good example of doing so
III. what's the percentage that this mid-term contributes towards the final grade? apparently homework percentages have been adjusted
