I wanted to thank a few frequent posters who I never met in real life, but to whom I'm indebted for their great assistance:
Bortz, Andrew S. - for very brain-stimulating posts, ideas and creative solutions, especially in regards to answers other students' problems; there was a great need for *some*one to post questions which simply weren't addressed anywhere and you asked them, and early-on, too, in turn inspiring a few of the longest threads on Bb :)
Shi, Ying - for quickly initiated threads and early diagnosis of many problems before the entire class bombed the Bb w/ the same problem :) easily our best and most prolific poster!
Cipriani, Jason A. - for very frank questions which got right down to the point, spared nothing, and were a delight to read; such frankness was often a great delight to read as I shared many->all of your frustrations; your depth of knowledge is great and you write throughly and concisely (e.g. "Homework 6- Tournament - "Threads"), so thanks for being forthright in speaking for myself, and probably many many others :)
Lee, Charles C. - for nailing down my many questions in the earlier homeworks and the quasi-flame war we never got off the ground :) thanks much for the to-the-point replies and the occasinal reminder to calm down :)
Liu, Limin Angela - for thoughts reaching beyond the homework scope to get us all thinking and for really early diagnosis of problems many days before I got to them, and of course, keeping people nice on the boards
Lee, Peter - need I say anymore? thanks for a great course and tending to our concerns and problems promptly, reliably, as well as kindly
No doubt you'll all be keeping academic.cs.15-212.discuss plenty busy next semester :) I won't be taking it until the fall, so enjoy and good luck, y'alls! |
