according to the TAs, we do NOT need to apply Huffman or LZW againt pictures -- they won't test these two algorithms against .bmp files
but personally, I think testing them against .bmp files is a good thing to do to make sure the algorithms DO work/function correctly.
I had no experience of the problem you described here though, so can not contribute more comments |
