| I am just wondering if anyone has correctly gotten the Lossy compression to work. We tested our algorithm and it is correctly sending in the smaller 8x8 array of bytes to the DCT but the picture comes out gibberish. When we then decompress that file we get a picture very similar to the original, with some discolaration. I'm not sure if this is our fault or if there is something incorrect with the DCT file. |
