I would like to make it known that I do not want you to modify any of the FileBitWriter code itself or the My211Zip. But like Jay said, if you want to extend the class to add functionality then go ahead. And as I said in the writeup, you do not need to use any of the given Huffman code. It sounds like you have very good ideas for the header, much better than writing the frequencies. The frequency write was just a basic method to give people an easier time with the Huffman part of the homework.
