I posed the following question just now to <advisor+>:
any and all telnet programs (NiftyTelnet 1.1 if you must have a specific verson/program name) map ctrl-h to backspace, so one cannot access the tutorial from a telnet terminal program due to that key mapping. even if the program's "Emacs Keys" option is checked on, so how do I get ctrl-h to actually send ctrl-h from any and all telnet programs?

I'll post the solution as soon as I get it.
